![]() ![]() It is my way to enjoy riding on public roads without risking my license, and it has been perfect for that and has required nothing more from me than fuel, basic maintenance, and the occasional cleaning. I bought this bike with eyes wide open, fully accepting it as something cheap and cheerful with merely adequate power and not-even-close-to-racetrack levels of braking or handling. ![]() ![]() This is a big contrast to my past bikes, where I almost immediately set about trying to "improve" them, with mixed results. And besides, the OEM Mickey Mouse ears work great. I bought a nice set of bar end mirrors right away, but can't be bothered to drill the bars to move the controls to install them. The seat is interchangeable within seconds so I don't consider it a modification any more than throwing a tank bag on, and brake pads are consumables - no more a mod than choosing a different oil. I chose "bone stock" because up to now I have not been able to convince myself to change anything other than the seat and the brake pads. ![]()
